The Sand Between My Toes tells the story of a young woman who is struggling to find peace in a world, thus far soiled by abusive relationships and substance addictions. Through an emotionally impacting 4-part series of poetry, we experience her journey as she follows true love and through a gammet of ups and downs we see a transformation. A person who is healed.

This reminds me of Courtney Love. In that she was so hurt and broken by the death of her ex that she got all fucked up. Neat to see Ms. Hoyle bringing a full circle back to wholeness. Courtney Love doesn't seem to hold the answers yet. You should send her this book.

This book is phenomenal. You will find yourself captivated from the beginning to the end and you will then start over again. Again and Again.
I'm impressed. This story nails it in so many ways expressing the universal journey of pain, healing and recovery.
It also sparks a nerve concerning social justice and the need for change to free the "slaves" of addiction and poverty.
